In my Bodyscapes photo series I placed myself in different areas familiar to me, whether my neighborhood, a city street, the mountain nearby, my desk, or local store. In San Diego’s Gaslamp District, my desire to feel big in the city as if it were my playground is expressed by
my foot on top of the trolley like a toy. Me curled up on my laptop with my Facebook page displayed, reflects how I feel sometimes. Instead of interacting in person, I’m locked up in my room, one of millions of people conversing on the Internet.
